Sanko Textile Inc. Trade Comp. (Corlu Branch) has been incorporated into Sanko Group of Companies at the beginning of 2006.
Konukoglu family, owner of Sanko Group, has been in textile business for over a century and the foundation of todays Sanko Group of Companies was laid out by Mr. Sani Konukoglu in 1943 with a modest weaving shed.
The Group has continuously grown since then, and industrial activities starting with weaving was later followed by production of hygienic cotton and cotton yarn in early 1960s. By early 1970s all focus was concentrated on cotton thread and Sanko has become the leading cotton thread producer in Turkey and also in Europe in the 80s. Focus was then shifted to other areas of textiles, primarily to knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing, finishing and sewing for home textiles.
Finally after investing solely in textiles for over a century, the Sanko Group decided to diversify its activities in 1990s and started investing in various fields, such as construction materials, beverages, packaging, finance, computer & climatization technologies, automotive, health and education.
Today, Sanko Group is repeatedly represented by several of its successful companies in the top 500 Turkish industiral firms list.

Total knitting capacity is 15,000 tons/year with 178 circular knitting machines in various widths up to 48 inches. Our superior production environment, coupled with meticulous quality control standards are all geared towards complete satisfaction of our customers. Design works are carried out by a creative and enthusiastic design team inspired by frequent visits to our major markets as well as to worlds most prominent textile shows. Fabric collections are prepared twice a year and exhibited at selected international fairs.
